Clarity Logo and It's Meaning

Updated: Jul 26

Creating the perfect logo

For me, choosing the perfect logo was not just about aesthetics; it was about capturing the essence of what I (and my company) stand for, in a single image. It is ridiculous how much time one can spend choosing a design and a name, it can honestly cripple you and keep you from moving forward, just because you want it to be perfect. I wanted my logo to embody my values, my spirit, and my journey, I knew I wanted something that was simple yet significant.

What's in the name?

I wanted to choose a name that resonates with my mission, the clients I serve and my journey. Clarity signifies transparency, understanding, and focus. In the realm of health and wellness coaching, having a clear vision of your goals, obstacles, and the steps needed to achieve them is key.

In my journey I found such profound clarity. It opened my eyes to a new world for my health and wellness. I gained clarity on what my body needs to thrive and how I was impeding it. It has been transformative for me.

By fostering a sense of clarity, we make informed decisions, break through limiting beliefs, and ultimately, achieve sustainable goals. It is a mindset, it helps cut through the noise of conflicting health advice, trends, and quick fixes, and instead, prioritize what truly matters - your vision for your well-being.

My goal is to bring clarity to your health goals, lifestyle choices, and overall well-being, to provide clear, concise, and actionable steps towards a healthier life. The name sets the tone for a coaching relationship built on trust, understanding, and effective communication. So, Clarity it is. It is exactly the right name for what I want to convey and help you achieve.

Why the Bird of Paradise?

When trying to determine a symbol for Clarity, I found some interesting coincidences as I started researching the Bird Of Paradise. Initially, I thought of it because the it has long been a favorite flower of mine. In my travels as a traveling nurse, I visited many arboretums, the good tourist that I am, and the Bird of Paradise always made an impact on me, with its beautiful colors and fanning display.

I learned that the "wings" symbolize freedom, the ability to soar and transcend. It represents fresh opportunities and listening to your intuition. It is a reminder that growth and transformation can lead to newfound freedom and self-discovery.

This was already sounding perfect but then I discovered a personal connection. The Bird of Paradise is the Zodiac flower of Aquarius, which I am, and the official flower of the 9th wedding anniversary and I am in my 9th year of marriage! I felt like it was just meant to be.

Lastly, I love that the Bird of Paradise represents Joy, which is something I hope for you all!

The Broken Circle

To be honest when I first chose this portion of the logo, it was a template, and I liked its simplicity. Then I realized that a "broken circle" is the perfect symbol for my philosophy, approach and coaching style.

A broken circle symbolizes growth, change, and the realization that perfection is not the goal.

Striving for perfection can often lead to burnout, frustration, and unrealistic expectations. Embracing imperfection allows us to be kinder to ourselves, acknowledging that setbacks and challenges are natural parts of our growth. Just like a broken circle, our journey to wellness may have breaks and imperfections - and that's perfectly okay, the circle is always there waiting for us to get back on track.

Imperfections are inherently human, they contribute to our growth, resilience, inner strength and self-compassion, shaping us into the best versions of ourselves. Accepting that allows us to find balance and peace in our life. Balance is at the core of a healthy lifestyle. Each imperfection is a stepping stone towards a healthier, happier you.

Thank you for taking the time to read this blog; I hope you enjoyed gaining insight into the story behind my logo and what my company represents. This is truly my dream job! I am passionate about this work and appreciate your interest in joining me on this journey. 🌿
